CarbonSim and LogicaCMG has assembled a multi-disciplinary team that brings together expertise in data management, inventory preparation, systems architecture, business logic, database construction, programming, systems integration, engineering, commodity trading, post-trading settlement, legal and regulatory protocols and certification and accounting standards.
EMISSIONS logic allows companies to compile their emissions inventory in accordance with a range of alternative emissions accounting methodologies, including EU ETS, IPCC, WRI/WBCSD, USDOE, UKDETR and AGO protocols.
EMISSIONS logic is constructed using industry standard technologies so that it can be integrated with most common business tools and management information systems to include real-time operational, financial and risk management information.
EMISSIONS logic compiles data on an installation-by-installation basis and then aggregates that data to show company performance. This level of detail ensures users can undertake comparative surveys on the performance of individual plant while maintaining an overview of the whole-of-company performance.
EMISSIONS logic provides coverage of all six greenhouse gases and may be customised to accommodate other environmental contaminants, such as NOx or SO2, or other tradeable environmental instruments, such as green tags or renewable energy certificates.
